Professional Card Grading

Protect, preserve and showcase your collection with The Kave's professional card grading service.

Every card is individually inspected using professional grading standards and examined under a microscope to identify imperfections that may not be visible to the naked eye. We spend approximately one hour assessing each submission to ensure a thorough and consistent evaluation.

What We Grade

​

We accept authentic trading cards from virtually any TCG, CCG or sports card release.

This includes Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, Digimon, sports cards and many more.

Counterfeit, cloned, replica or altered cards will not receive a numerical grade, and grading fees are non-refundable.

Our Process

1. Submit your card in-store.

2. Payment is made upfront.

3. Your card is authenticated and professionally graded.

4. The card is encapsulated in a protective slab with a unique certification number.

5. Your digital grading report is published and linked via QR code.

6. You'll be notified when your card is ready for collection.

Turnaround Time

​

Most submissions are completed within 3–5 business days.

During periods of high demand (generally exceeding 250 cards in the grading queue), turnaround times may be extended. If delays are expected, we'll keep you informed.

Grading

​

Cards are graded on a 1–10 scale, with eligible cards also receiving designations such as Authentic, Misprint, or Error Card where applicable.

Important Information

​

• Full payment is required before grading begins.

• There is no limit to the number of cards you may submit.

• Cards may be resubmitted for regrading at the standard fee of $30 per card.

• Customers are responsible for arranging their own insurance if required.

• In the unlikely event that a card is lost or stolen while in our possession, The Kave will work with the customer to provide fair compensation based on the verified market value of the card.

• Any attempt to open or alter a graded slab is expected to leave visible signs of tampering.

• Grades represent the professional opinion of The Kave and are not guaranteed to match those issued by other grading companies.
